we celebrate 50 years in Dearborn Heights

It’s amazing to think about, but it was 50 years ago that a group of people gathered together with the desire to plant a church to have an impact on their community.  Little did they realize what would take place, but I’m sure they dreamed a bit about the possibilities,

A  special invitation to you and your family in joining us at Immanuel Lutheran Church to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this church.  It has been 50 wonderful years being in this community, attending to the spiritual needs of the community, working with faithful parishioners like you.

The anniversary event will be held on October 21, 2018 at 10:30 am at our church premise, and we hope to see many friends and families at this special event.  The Rev. Dr. Robert Kasper will preach and serve Holy Communion with the assistance of Deacon Steve Sparks.  A pot-luck luncheon will be served following the service.

This anniversary celebration is an opportunity to thank God for all His provisions to you and me over these 50 years. Please feel free to contact Deacon Sparks at 313-278-5755 if you have any questions.
